The Czech automaker Skoda India recently launched the Elegance Edition of Slavia and Kushaq in India. Both of these popular models from the brand have finally received the addition of a classy “Deep Black” shade. Now, the company, in order to promote this new edition of its vehicles, has launched a brand-new TVC. This new television commercial highlights all the additions offered with the new Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Edition.
Skoda Kushaq and Slavia’s Elegance Edition’s new TVC has been shared on YouTube by the official channel of Skoda India. It starts off with the exterior of the two cars showing the all-new “Deep Black” color. It shows both of the cars from different angles, highlighting the appearance of them in the new classy black shade. Following this, the video then shows the newly added signature chrome grille, elegance badge on the B-pillar, Skoda welcome puddle lamp, elegance accessories on the interior including pillows, neck rests, and seat belts along with a few others.
Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Edition pricing
The company has launched the new Elegance Edition models of the Slavia and the Kushaq at a premium. Based on the style variants of both models, these command a higher price tag owing to the recent additions. The Skoda Slavia Elegance Edition 1.5 with the manual transmission has been priced at Rs 17.52 lakh.
Meanwhile, the Skoda Slavia Elegance Edition 1.5 with the automatic transmission has been priced at Rs 18.92 lakh. Coming to the pricing of the Skoda Kushaq Elegance Edition 1.5 with a manual transmission, it has been priced at Rs 18.31 lakh, while the Skoda Kushaq Elegance Edition 1.5 equipped with the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission has been priced at Rs 19.51 lakh.
Elegance Edition models powertrain
Coming to the powertrains offered with the Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Edition models. The company only offers these models with its top-of-the-line 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 150 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. This engine is offered with two transmission options, including a six-speed manual transmission and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
New Skoda cars coming in 2024
In other Skoda news, the company is gearing up for the launch of a few new models in the country. One of the first cars to be launched, or shall we say re-launched, will be the Skoda Superb. According to reports, this new flagship sedan will be brought in via the CBU route and will be priced at Rs 40 lakh. It will be launched around the month of June this year. The new model will feature a slightly updated exterior and a revamped interior. It will be offered with various powertrain options, including mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid, along with front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive setups.
The company is also planning to launch the facelifted iteration of its SUV Kodiaq in the country this year around June. Additionally, Skoda could launch its first all-electric SUV, the Enyaq iV, around September. The Enyaq iV will be offered with multiple battery pack options, various drivetrains, and an impressive claimed range of up to 510 km.
